New Mexico artist
Rosalyn Roembke has exhibited at the Albuquerque Museum`s annual
Miniature Show for the past nine years. Her exquisite oil
paintings of traditionally arranged still lifes were shown at
the Denver Artists of America show in 2000. Highly acclaimed for
her realistic approach to painting, Roembke combines
contemporary compositions with a refined palette to create her
elegant still lifes. Her sophisticated arrangements of form,
texture, value, and color merge together to enhance the visual
unity of her works. Light plays an important role in Roembke`s
paintings, as seen by the subtle reflections created by
aesthetically placed objects. |
